Lizziebelle Borella, 99, died at 1:45 a.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010, in Westside Care Center. She was born in Herrin on June 14, 1911, to William and Pearl Elders Little.



She was married to Anthony Joseph (A.J.) Borella and he preceded her in death in 1962. She was a retired school teacher and of the Methodist faith.She was a member of Orient Methodist Church, Royal Neighbors and Teachers Retirement Organization.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Borella; parents; and sister, Mildred Parisho.

Survivors include a daughter, Joyce and husband Charles Lee Mutchek of West Frankfort; grandchildren, Tony and wife Pam Mutchek of West Frankfort, Susan and husband Mike Hood of West Frankfort; great-grandchildren, A.J., Ryan, Lexie, and Erin; and one great great-grandchild, Mariah.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010, in Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, with the Rev. Bennett Wood officiating. Burial will be in Denning Cemetery on Orient Road. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
