Frank J. Harrington, Jr., 70, of Belleville formerly of Jersey City, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at home surrounded by his loving family. Frank was a retired employee of Shop Rite, and worked in Jersey City & Kearny. He was also a serviceman in the Marines, a dedicated Giants & Yankees fan, and a known history buff.
Beloved husband of Angela (Araneo) Harrington, loving father of Frank J., III & wife Daisy Harrington, Daniel & Christine Harrington, cherished grandfather of Ryan & David Harrington, dear brother of Douglas Harrington, devoted uncle of Keith & Donna.
Visitation will be from Riotto Funeral Home, 3205 Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City (riottofh.com) on Saturday, July 31, 2010 and Sunday, August 1, 2010, both days from 3-7 PM. Funeral will be Monday, August 2, 2010, 10 AM at the funeral home, funeral mass at Holy Family Church (28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley), at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
