ALEXANDER FUNERAL HOME LOCATION
Richard A. Raines, Jr. “Rick” age 64 of Lebanon passed away Friday July 30, 2010. Funeral service will be Sunday August 1st at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Rev. Denman Frazer, Rev. Tommy Baker and Rev. Gary Mraz officiating. Interment will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens with Paul Mills, Gary Knowles, John Parker, Thomas Zobel, Bill Weiland, Bobby Wynne and the grands serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are the football and basketball teams’ of Giles County High School Class of 1963. Visitation will be Saturday July 31st 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Rick was born on September 15, 1945 in Pulaski, Tennessee son of the late Richard A. Raines, Sr. and Thelma Cooper Raines. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter Wendy Raines Parker. He is survived by his wife Donna Smith Raines of Lebanon, daughter Dawn Yowell of Lewisburg, TN, three step-daughters, Kelly Mills (Paul) of Zionsville, IN, Cheryl Elliott of Gallatin, Melinda Shields of Jeffersonville, IN, two sisters, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
