Jeremiah Joseph Cody, age 67, died Thursday, July 29, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 12, 1943 in Kinsale, County Cork, Ireland. He grew up in Kinsale until 1963 when he moved to Arlington, MA. He served in the US Marine Corps before going to work for H.P. Hood in Charleston, MA. In 1974 he moved to Oklahoma where he worked for Borden Dairy and Great Plains Coca Cola. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his parents and one sister Anne Marie, he is survived by his wife Mary of the home, two sons John Joseph Cody and wife Julie and Michael Patrick Cody and wife Amy all of OKC. Also by three grandchildren McGuire, Anna, Emily and one great grandchild Conner. By one brother John Cody and one sister Theresa Cody both of Kinsale, Ireland. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church Building Fund. Wake service will be held at 7pm on Monday, August 2, 2010 and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Tuesday, August 3, 2010, both at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Mustang, Oklahoma. Arrangements are handled by McNeil’s Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang, Oklahoma.
